I am Bettina. 19 years ago I moved from Cologne, Germany, to Uruguay and went through everything that lies ahead of you: authorities, translations, the container, finding a house, health cover. Today I guide people from across Europe along that same path.
The problem

Documents with the right timing
You obtain the apostilles yourself, while you are still in Europe — only the country that issued a document can apostille it, it cannot be done from Uruguay. I tell you in advance exactly which papers you need, so you can get them all done at home in one go.
Opening a bank account
I help you open your account — so that it is there when you need it. The good moment: as soon as your residency application is under way.
Shipping your container
Timed properly: when your container should set out. Duty-free import depends on the residency application being in progress — I make sure that is in place in time.
About me
I am not an agency. I am the neighbour.
My name is Bettina Haupt. I come from Cologne and have lived for 19 years with my Uruguayan husband Pablo in Estación Atlántida. Here I run my plant nursery, Vivero Köln — ornamentals, fruit, vegetables and medicinal herbs.
The relocation support grew out of the nursery, not the other way round. More and more Europeans came by, relieved to finally ask someone in their own language how things work here.

In that very first conversation we already get to know each other a little, and my clients regularly ask how I have spent my 19 years in Uruguay. That can easily run on for a few hours before you have told even a part of it.
